ABOUT THE NAME:
Our business is named Junk and Disorderly, AZ and we are located in Tempe, Arizona. We currently have a presence on Etsy, Amazon and eBay.
The name came about after retiring from law enforcement. We were looking for something to do and began buying storage lockers at auction (the Storage Wars thing...we even appeared on 4 episodes) and had some pretty good luck.
Jana didn’t like the almost every weekend garage sales we were having and people knocking on our door wanting to buy stuff when we weren’t having sales so we opened a warehouse and needed a name. Junk and Disorderly was it.
We ran the business for several years in CA, selling antiques, collectibles and storage locker finds, before deciding to move to Arizona. We continued to buy storage lockers (it’s addicting) and buy and sell antiques and collectibles in AZ but not as often and without a warehouse.
A couple of years ago we started doing Personalized Military Creeds and it has pretty much taken over. Since we had the name in place for many years, we decided to keep it, even though it really has nothing to do with our current endeavors.
About the Owner
Tim Joined the Army in 1983 on a "Baby SF" Contract. He attended Basic/AIT Infantry OSUT at Fort Benning, GA, and then went on to Jump School. After graduating, he went to Fort Bragg, NC, where he attended the Special Forces Qualification Course (Q-Course). Upon graduation, he was assigned to a team in the 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Devens, MA. He later served on a team in the 12th Special Forces Group out of Southern California. After leaving the service, Tim had a 27-year law enforcement career in Southern California. He is a life member of the Special Forces Association.
